Critical Mass Houston is a casual bike ride. Cars rule the road every day, but one day a month we get together to celebrate our love for bicycles and have fun riding our bikes.
See Houston in a whole new way. Explore the art scene with a Mural ride, enjoy a new park along Buffalo Bayou, or any of the other amazing bike rides and community events held every month. Always good advice: bring water and a snack.

For new or experienced bicycle riders, this on-the-bike class teaches adult riders how to anticipate most common scenarios they will face and provides the tools to address real world challenges, from debris to sharing the road, in order to boost confidence and enhance the riding experience. Free and open to all.

Celebrate fall in Houston with local tech startups from the Bayou City's burgeoning innovation hub, The Ion. This 5-mile ride through Midtown and Third Ward will stop at Axelrad Beer Garden and end at the Ion's new taproom, Second Draught.

Bike to work, bike to play, today is Bike to Wherever Day!
As many Houstonians continue to work from home and alternate workspaces, we are celebrating Bike to Wherever Day instead of the traditional Bike to Work event.
The ride’s on us this special day. For a free 30-minute ride on any of our bikes (even e-bikes!) download the BCycle app and use code BTWD, or 0521 at the kiosk to get a free 30-minute ride. Check out the Station Map or Popular Routes for ideas.
To celebrate Bike Month, we’re also discounting BCycle monthly membership to only $10 for May for all new and renewing members. All Members get unlimited hour-long rides throughout our 125+ BCycle station system.
